Starter Knife (aka Salad and Dessert Knife)
Designed as a salad and dessert knife by Zyliss, we think it is a great starter knife for children, crafted of durable plastic with a serrated edge. We recommend that you teach your child how to hold and use a knife, and always supervise your child when using a knife.
When used as a salad knife, the plastic blade prevents the lettuce from bruising or browning. It is also ideal for slicing cakes, brownies, pies, and pastries in non-stick bakeware. Great for cutting through lasagna or casseroles, too!
