Join the talented cookie artist Ericka Lanter for a hands-on class that provides all the basics for success starting with mixing, rolling out, and baking vanilla sugar cookies, and the effects of humidity, desired texture and thickness, along with chill vs. no chill methods. The class will make royal icing and discuss coloring, disposable pastry bags with tips, tipless pastry bags, and squeeze bottles. Learn how to set up your space for decorating with the proper tools and test the royal icing with tipless bags on parchment. Students will take home a sampling of cookies and royal icing.
