HONEY-GARLIC SHRIMP
Serves 4

1 lb large shrimp

Marinade:
4 TB honey
1 TB Thai chili Sauce, or chili paste (available in ethnic markets) or to taste
2 TB soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 TB grated ginger
1 shallot finely minced
14/ cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix marinade, there should be about ˝ cup if not, stir in a little water so that it measures about ˝ a cup. In a plastic bag, place the shrimp, add the marinade and marinate about ten minutes. Either place on skewers and then grill, or sauté the shrimp, in a preheated pan to which a little oil has been added. After marinating, heat the marinade in a sauce pan to a full boil, and then drizzle over the shrimp.
