Banana Poppyseed Bread  

1 cup mashed ripe banana
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. poppy seeds
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat  oven at 350°. Combine bananas and sugar in a bowl, stir well. Let it stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in milk, egg, oil, and set aside. Combine all purpose flour, whole wheat flour and the next 5 ingredients and stir well. Make a well in the center of this mixture, add banana mix to this and stir to moisten. Grease the loaf pan or pan. This batter will make 1 regular size loaf or 3 small loafs. Bake it at 350°.  Bake regular loaf about 1 hour, the small loafs 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle of bread comes out clean.
